The impacts of cash settlement on housing quality and claimant wellbeing

We are pleased to share the findings from our Toka Tū Ake EQC-funded research into the impacts of cash settlement of insurance claims following the 2016 Kaikōura/Hurunui earthquake.

Using a claimant survey, interviews with key stakeholders, and claim and consent data analysis, we have built up a comprehensive picture of the impact of cash settlement on long-term housing quality and claimant wellbeing.
