Summary
In the New Zealand education system, performance is measured at student, teacher, school and sector level. Entities that manage and evaluate performance of schools in New Zealand at sector level include the Ministry of Education, Educational Review Office and Teaching Council. Groups that evaluate and manage performance at an organisation (school) level include boards of trustees, principals and senior management. Other key stakeholders are teachers, parents and students.
