Risk & resilience training, mentoring, & coaching services
We can help with:
Risk & resilience capability building
Risk & resilience education
Resilience practice
Business continuity capability building
Building resilience culture
  Crisis Management exercises
We can support, inspire, and challenge you and your team to grow your confidence and capability in emergency management, crisis leadership, risk management, business continuity, and organisational resilience.
For many organisations business continuity and resilience begins with one or two key champions within the team and this can be lonely and challenging.
Having an independent sounding board can help you see the wood for the trees, plan and prioritise your activities, and identify opportunities. We can help you overcome obstacles standing in the way of progress.
As well as supporting individuals and teams within organisations, we deliver public training and education courses, such as the Response and Recovery Aotearoa NZ course (RRANZ).
Want to build resilience capacity in your organisation?
Examples of our work

Creating user-friendly content
We developed the content of a free app; Atlas: Ready for Business created by the Global Disaster Preparedness Centre, a partnership between the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) with the American Red Cross. The goal of this project was to make it easy and fun for organisations of any size to ensure they are ready to get through.
The app, now available in 11 languages, provides basic business continuity and resilience advice. It is free of jargon and contains a mix of practical tasks and educational content. The four levels of content take users on a journey from basic ideas such as ensuring data is backed up, to more advanced concepts such as being ready to capitalise on opportunities that may present in a crisis.

Workshops for SMEs
We run engaging learning opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on how to prepare for crises and disruptions.
We design learning support materials based on the objectives of the groups and these can range from one-off workshops to integrated programmes that include webinars, workshops, and resilience benchmarking.
Past SME support programmes have been facilitated by Emergency Management Southland, QuakeCoRE, Enterprise Dunedin, Marlborough CDEM, Volunteer Canterbury, Merino NZ, North Canterbury Drought, Beef and Lamb, and Supporting the Youth Sector.

Public training and education courses
We are proud partners of MatatÅ« Mataroa Aotearoa – Response & Recovery Aotearoa New Zealand (RRANZ).Â
RRANZ builds the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of response and recovery leaders in New Zealand. We contribute to course development, facilitation, and coaching.

Industry group workshops
We were thrilled to support the International Safeguards Engagement Program team to design and facilitate a virtual seminar introducing organisational resilience concepts to those involved in the essential monitoring of the use of nuclear material in the Asia Pacific.
