Organisational resilience

Change is the new constant. Are you ready to adapt?

We can check your organisation's adaptive capacity and work with you to build your resilience.

Organisational resilience services

We can help with:

Resilience benchmarking

Risk & resilience diagnosis

Crisis scenario planning

Risk & resilience strategy development

Risk & resilience process design

Resilience programme development

Resilience capability building

Team development

Being ready for anything is a strategic capability.

Both slow creep changes such as changing demographics and rapid-onset natural hazard events pose a challenge for any business. By building resilience capability your organisation can thrive no matter what comes your way.

Being ready is more than creating business continuity plans, it is about cultivating adaptive capacity in your team and building flexibility into your organisational planning and processes.

We can help diagnose how ready you are to respond to disruption and design a programme to build your organisational resilience.

Resilience benchmarking

In 2019 we measured the organisational resilience of the municipal authority of Québec (Ville de Québec), Canada, using our 13 indicators organisational resilience model.

This has helped them understand their resilience strengths and weaknesses and identify and design interventions to improve their capacity to respond to change and disruption.

A re-measure in 2021 enabled Ville de Québec to monitor changes in their resilience capacity and to review and recalibrate their resilience interventions.

Resilience capacity building

We are working with a government agency to build on their highly successful business continuity programme to embed a resilience culture within their organisation.

As a trusted and independent voice, we are helping them to:

  • build a value case for building resilience that resonates with their organisation;
  • design a resilience enhancement programme;
  • coach their team through the internal engagement process;
  • identify opportunities for resilience growth; and
  • advise how to measure the progress and success of their resilience programme.

Sector resilience benchmarking

We have worked with the Australian Attorney General’s Department Resilience Expert Advisory Group to develop a critical infrastructure sector resilience benchmark tool.

The tool was used to measure resilience within and between Australian critical infrastructure utilities.
