The post-disaster reconstruction research team primarily focuses on the capability and capacity of the construction sector to rise to the challenge of a major reconstruction effort, and is subdivided into the following themes:
- Resourcing reconstruction
- Project productivity
- Procurement of recovery projects
- Recovery governance
With the Christchurch rebuild underway, the research team continue to actively monitoring and reporting on resourcing issues likely to emerge over time.
