Recent EventsDecember 2006Field TripDr. Andre Dantas and the research students recently went on a field trip to see the location and terrain potentially affected by a major alpine fault event. They have taken GPS co-ordinates and photos of roading assets likely to be damaged and hope to incorporate these into a realistic disaster scenario simulation of how the DGIS could support decision making in such an event. 14th - 15th November 2006Exercise Capital Quake ’'06In November a large portion of the research team of the Resilient Organisations Programme were involved in the 06' Capital Quake exercise which simulated days 1 and 2 following a major Wellington Earthquake. 2nd October 2006New research report available on-lineA new research report on 'Building Organisational Resilience: A summary of key research findings' is now available in pdf format on our publications page.
