Warsaw School of Economics, Warsaw, Poland
The Pilot Study for the Resilient Organisations Resilience Assessment Tool in Poland was undertaken by the Warsaw School of Economics, Warsaw, Poland between March and May 2015.
The main aim of the research was to check the applicability of the Resilient Organisations Resilience Assessment Tool in the Polish organizational environment. The Warsaw School of Economics was chosen to take part in the survey for two major reasons. Firstly, the research team is located within the University which simplifies the access to the sample group. Furthermore, in recent years, the school has experienced an important crisis situation and is currently is implementing a recovery plan. The results of the survey were to help the University find the strengths and weaknesses within its organizational structure.
Managers from the Administration Unit of the University were chosen to take part in the research. The Administration Unit was chosen because this unit has the biggest impact on the functioning of the School, coordinating the work of every single person in the organization.
The present report contains a short presentation of the surveyed organization as well as a description of the survey form and results, along with recommendations for Warsaw School of Economics to boost its resilience on frames of the recovery plan.
